Bottle Day
I had planned on bottling the Honey Rye Pale Ale yesterday, but I missed a connecting flight on the way home (after getting up at 3:00AM CDT) and so it was not to be. So this morning while my wife was out at a meeting the boys and I bottled it up.
We got 1 20oz bottle and 41 1/2 12 oz bottles out of it, which still yields down around $1/bottle which is pretty good for this kind of a beer–anything medium gravity I like that price range.
So in two weeks it’ll be carbonated, but I’ll wait to open any of them until mid-July, and I’ll try to get the next brew night scheduled for the week of the 14th or that of the 21st.
I still have both secondaries full in what seems like forever waiting for the Mead and the Lord Fatbottom–I’m really looking forward to trying both of them.
